Annual Financial Reports
Once the annual accounting is complete business financial reports are created which include a statement of financial performance, statement of financial position, statement of fixed assets & depreciation and owners capital report. These will outline the profit or loss of your business for the year and your business assets and liabilities. From this your income tax returns are then prepared.
Business Annual Accounting
All your annual financial transactions are collected and collated and entered into a general ledger. From there everything is sorted into accounts and checked over. Assets and liabilities are reconciled, tax reducing expenses are claimed resulting in the final net profit or loss for the financial year.
Business Income Tax Returns
If applicable a business income tax return is prepared from the annual financial reports. By this stage all claims have been made to reduce the business income tax and this is prepared in conjunction with any personal income tax returns as required. Once prepared and signed off this is submitted to Inland Revenue for you.
Personal Income Tax Returns
Based on the business annual financial reports and any external income received, personal income tax returns are carefully prepared in conjunction with any business income tax returns ensuring the best possible tax outcome for all concerned. Once prepared and signed off these are submitted to Inland Revenue for you.
GST Returns Prepared (Optional)
Staying on top on your regular tax compliance work can be time consuming and complicated. Kiwitax 1, 2, and 6 monthly GST return services offer an effective GST return service to ensure your returns are prepared correctly and filed on time every time. A easy way to keep up to date with your regular tax compliance leaving you free to focus on your business.
Periodic Trading Reports Prepared (Optional)
As an option periodic reports can be prepared so you can easily see what's happening with your business trading. The reports include an estimated income tax figure based on the current trading results, an easy to understand graph to track your year's performance and various other reports giving a good snapshot of your current business financials.
FBT Returns Prepared (Optional)
If your business has employees and they receive related "perks" such as company vehicles, medical insurance, low interest loans and so on then it's likely Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT) returns will need to be prepared. Kiwitax can look after the preparation and filing of your FBT returns with Inland Revenue and are usually filed 3 or 12 monthly.
Company Annual Returns Prepared (Optional)
For New Zealand incorporated companies an annual company return must be filed with the NZ Companies Office. If this is not done each year by the due date the Companies Office begin proceedings to remove the company from the companies register.
